WC Open Qualifier 2026

This tournament is free and open to anyone! Do you want to become the next World Hive Champion? Start from here! 

Don't worry if you have not played competitively before, this is a great chance to have fun, learn, and get to know Hive fans from all over the world!

If it's your first time in the World Hive Championship, you might also be awarded a prize as Best New Hive Player of the Year!

Start: 15th April 2026.

Platform: Hivegame.com

Format: open to anyone, 8 rounds accelerated Swiss tournament.

Schedule: flexible, 10 days per round (2-game match).

Time control: 20 minutes + 20 sec increment per move.

Qualification: The top 24 players will qualify for the Hive WC 2026 starting in July (the rules will be published on this page later on). 

How to sign up?

1. Set up your account on Hivegame.com and make sure you know how to use the platform in advance.

3. Fill out the registration form.

4. We advise you to use the Discord platform and join our community for easier communication with your opponents.

5. Wait for the email and Discord communication from the committee about the first round to start and be as proactive as possible scheduling with your opponent.
